 Our goal has been to have a combined partnership focused on policy makers at a local level and NGOs with direct experience of combating poverty and social exclusion. Most of the partners took part in the first phase of the project. They were chosen on the basis of their innovative methods that they wanted to share, and the extent to which they have a perspective of facilitating the situation of the homeless themselves rather than focusing on the co-operative problems between those who work with the homeless. We have tried to get a wide spectrum of organisations to participate in the project as we think that they all have an important role to play in combating social exclusion. We particularly believe that a strengthened link between municipalities and NGOs is of great importance when dealing with that issue. |
